Luma University's July open days on 5 and 12 July 2026 attracted record attendance, welcoming over 3,800 visitors across both dates. These flagship summer events offer the most comprehensive programme of subject talks, campus tours and student life activities in our open day calendar.
Faculties deliver parallel sessions throughout the day, allowing families to attend presentations for multiple subject areas. Accommodation tours cover all four halls—Riverside Hall, Beacon Court, Maple House and Scholars Village—with current residents available to answer questions about costs, contracts and communal living.
Financial guidance sessions explain tuition fee loans, maintenance support and Luma bursaries for eligible students. Widening participation advisers discuss contextual offers and support for care leavers, estranged students and those from low-participation neighbourhoods.
These July 2026 events have concluded. Prospective applicants should register for the October 2026 open day or autumn applicant days. Feedback from July visitors indicated high satisfaction with campus facilities and student ambassador interactions, informing planning for the 2027 open day programme.
