The institutional repository NRepo hosts open-access versions of journal articles, theses, conference papers and creative outputs where publisher permissions allow. Search by author, department, keyword or funder. REF-eligible outputs are deposited within three months of acceptance as mandated by university policy.

Postgraduate theses are deposited upon award and discoverable globally through British Library EThOS integration.

Luma researchers published over 680 journal articles in 2025 across disciplines. Luma supports green and gold open access. Article processing charges for gold open access may be covered through Read and Publish agreements or central open access funds for corresponding authors.
